Drug & Alcohol Program

Implementing a drug and alcohol testing program in the workplace can be complex and it is vital that employers work inline with their policies. Salutes Occupational Health do recommend that the policy is rolled out in advance of any program, providing the employees to declare if they should have any problems first. Salutes will work with each client to ensure the policy is robust and shows the exact testing systems in place as part of that policy.

Using a third-party service provider prevents employees feeling as if they are being targeted and ensures fairness and accuracy on outcomes. Here at Salutes Occupational Health Ltd our technicians will provide a service that is efficient by working with the management team on the day of testing to ensure the process within the policy is adhered to. We will support the employer with educational material and full training for managers so that this coincides with the roll out of any policy. Finally, we will help educate the employee that they also have a duty of care to others within their workplace.
