Case Management

The Managing Director of Salutes is fortunate in that she is a qualified Occupational Health Advisor with experience as a Business Manager in the medical corporate arena working for large organisations.

It is this experience and working as a team with management that has helped Salutes achieve reduction in absence. Salutes approach is team work with all stakeholders which has shown reductions in absence.

Salutes philosophy is to improve wellbeing and prevent ill health. To be proactive in its referrals and to manage cases from beginning to end with definitive advice in order to find solutions which work for all parties.

Salutes have:-

  • Commercial approach to cases which in turn offers definitive advice

Telephone Assessment

Salutes offer a telephone-based service upon receipt of the referral form. Appointments are made via email communication informing you of the time and date so that you can advise your employee. Reports are written on the same day as the appointment and forwarded to you on our secure server to which you will have your own unique login. Access to our forms and referral process are available once you have a login.

Telephone assessments are effective for many cases and offer an excellent initial assessment, being cost effective to the client as it avoids unnecessary travel for all parties. Salutes appreciate that face to face sometimes can work better so we offer both services.

These services are charged by the hour and Salutes advisor will work with the client to ensure all questions are answered helping support and manage issues related to sickness absence or cases showing symptoms, reviewing trends within the business and developing strategies to overcome any problem areas.

Face to Face Assessment

These assessments can be useful when a visual look is required as to how someone walks, climbs stairs or indeed anxiety and depression cases where face to face is more personal.

Salutes can offer half or full day clinics and each appointment would be an hour including the report. On the odd occasion a case is complex and therefore requires longer, you still only pay for the half or full day. Salutes also offer face to face appointments at its clinics in Mansfield or Farnsfield.

Salutes advisor will work with the client to ensure all questions are answered helping support and manage issues related to sickness absence, or cases showing symptoms, reviewing trends within the business and developing strategies to overcome any problem areas.

Salutes commercial approach has proven to be successful as it enables all parties to move forward through a facilitation process where transparency is at the forefront.

Multi Disciplinary approach

Managing employee health and wellbeing can be complicated. Salutes will work with the various members of the clinical treatment team to ensure accurate and supportive advice is offered. Salutes may refer to the employee GP, external resource such as physiotherapy, consultants and more dependant upon the health matter being addressed.
